This design project, named "After Rain," is a residential apartment that beautifully combines the elegance of neo-classical design with modern sensibilities. Created by Te Yu Liu and Hui Ching Chang, this apartment offers a unique and sophisticated living space that is both visually stunning and functional.

The inspiration behind "After Rain" lies in the desire to strike a balance between a modern building and classical lines. The designers aimed to innovate while still holding onto the timeless appeal of classical design. Sustainability was also a key consideration throughout the design process.

What sets "After Rain" apart is its ability to create a pleasant and honorable living environment. The design team has carefully crafted a space that offers a corner for personal enjoyment, allowing residents to experience a high-quality lifestyle. The apartment embraces bright and mellow neo-classicism as its style positioning, with a fusion of modern sentiments to add a contemporary touch.

The color palette of "After Rain" features light grey and lotus-purple tones for the classical cornices, which are complemented by wooden oak flooring to create a warm and inviting ambiance. The furniture and furnishings strike a balance between sophistication and simplicity, with classic corniced walls seamlessly blending with modern pieces. This fusion eliminates any sense of abruptness and highlights the innovative design techniques employed in the space.

Upon entering the apartment, one is greeted by a foyer with modern marble flooring. The living room features a comfortable L-shaped sofa, creating a visually balanced space. The dining room is cleverly designed with a bar area, offering primary and secondary positions for convenience. A matte golden diamond chandelier hangs from the ceiling, adding a touch of splendor and serving as a visual focal point. The master bedroom is adorned with exquisite cornices, showcasing the neo-classical style and adding an exquisite fashionable temperament to the space.

"After Rain" has received recognition for its outstanding design. In 2020, it was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate exceptional creativity, resourcefulness, and technical skills.
