Shenzhen Imperial Park: A Duplex Penthouse Redefining Luxury

Unveiling a New Perspective on Contemporary Aesthetics

Located at Shenzhen Bay, the Shenzhen Imperial Park stands as a testament to luxury and elegance. Designed by Tao Huang and Zhihong Li, this duplex penthouse redefines the concept of opulence in the 21st century.

With a space of nearly 1000 square meters, the Shenzhen Imperial Park offers a perfect sea view and a reclusive environment, making it the most expensive luxury house in China in the last century. This architectural marvel combines a new understanding of luxury with contemporary aesthetics, focusing on creating a comfortable living environment that emphasizes spiritual enlightenment and displays natural and innocent humanities at its core.

The design of the Shenzhen Imperial Park is characterized by its unique properties and strengths. The soft grayish white tones blend harmoniously with dark and light wooden colors, outlined by black metal accents, creating an elegant and chic atmosphere. The interplay of different materials, exquisite joint details, and the abundance of natural light contribute to a serene and tranquil ambiance, allowing residents to reconnect with the beauty of life.

The penthouse offers a breathtaking view of the world-class bay, seamlessly integrating the extraordinary surroundings into its design. The spaciousness of the living room, with its high ceiling, exudes magnificence, while the long private balcony, spanning over 20 meters, invites residents to immerse themselves in the beauty of the hills, sea, and sunshine. Full-length windows extend infinitely, emphasizing clean lines, simple finishes, and natural materials that highlight the overall space. The delicate balance between openness and privacy creates a harmonious flow throughout the penthouse.

Operating on the principle of "less is more," the Shenzhen Imperial Park embraces simplicity and introversion. The use of simple yet multi-layered materials creates a quiet and contemplative atmosphere. This design philosophy, influenced by Chinese Daoism and Western modernist architecture, reflects a profound wisdom and freedom that transcends time.

The Shenzhen Imperial Park project commenced in December 2017 and was completed in November 2018 in Shenzhen, China. Throughout the design process, the team faced various challenges, including the integration of the high ceiling in the living room to create a sense of grandeur and the careful arrangement of flows between openness and privacy. However, these challenges were overcome, resulting in a space that exudes elegance and sophistication.

The Shenzhen Imperial Park has been recognized for its outstanding design and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the project's incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to improvements in quality of life and making the world a better place.

With its unrivaled luxury, breathtaking views, and meticulous attention to detail, the Shenzhen Imperial Park sets a new standard for contemporary living. This duplex penthouse is a testament to the power of design to create spaces that inspire and elevate the human experience.
