Yangzhou Yin: A Sales Center Inspired by Water

Highlighting the Local Culture and Landscape

Inspired by the history and scenery of Yangzhou, the Yangzhou Yin sales center, designed by Tianxu Design, is a stunning representation of water. With its use of glass and colored glaze, the space creates a sense of transparency and reflects the beauty of the surrounding environment. The design pays homage to the city's rich cultural heritage and aims to create a harmonious fusion of aesthetics, function, and humanistic care.

Located in the historical city of Yangzhou, the sales center serves as a gateway to the local culture and landscape. The design team at Tianxu Design focused on highlighting the water elements that are integral to the city's identity. The finishes and installations throughout the space convey the beauty and tranquility of the local water landscape.

The design of the sales center is characterized by its simplicity and purity. It strikes a balance between aesthetics and function, creating a space that is both visually appealing and practical. The integration of the environment and people is at the core of the design philosophy, resulting in a space that resonates with its visitors.

The materials used in the sales center include top-quality cowhide, shell finish, metal, and glass. One of the standout features is the water bar in the negotiation area on the second floor. The table is made of shells, which generate a soft reflection under the light. The accessories at the water bar are predominantly transparent in black, white, and gray, creating a transparent and misty atmosphere when the lights in the alcove are lit.

The sales center covers a total area of 500 square meters and features a VIP area on the second floor. In this area, a chandelier made of bright stainless steel in the shape of a water drop hangs, while glass is used to create a rippling circle beneath it. The bright surface stainless steel is also used to make a flying butterfly, symbolizing the ripple effect caused by the butterflies flying out. These design elements aim to express the owner's pursuit of a quality life and artistic taste.

At the reception area, art installations depicting flowing water and boats evoke the historical charm of Yangzhou. One artwork, titled "The Perfection," showcases the crystal-like beauty of water droplets, soft waterlines, and the continuous extension of waves. Another installation, made of wooden round rods mixed with transparent glazed round rods, brings flexibility and cohesion to the space, influenced by the natural light beside the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The Yangzhou Yin sales center project began on April 22, 2020, and was completed on June 5, 2020, in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China. The design team at Tianxu Design conducted extensive research to ensure that the design captured the essence of Yangzhou's cultural heritage and natural beauty. The challenge was to create a space that reflected the city's prosperity and rapid development, while also paying homage to its historical significance.

The Yangzhou Yin sales center, designed by Tianxu Design, has been recognized for its excellence in design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The design of the sales center integrates industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
