Yiting Lu's Innovative Design: Jingdezhen Wenlan Mansion

Exploring the Intersection of Art, Space, and Time in Interior Design

Yiting Lu's Jingdezhen Wenlan Mansion, a sales center in Jiangxi, China, is a testament to the power of design to evoke emotion and provoke thought. The project, which won the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, uses abstract and pixelated design techniques to create a unique, immersive experience for visitors.

The inspiration for the design came from the eternal questions and doubts about the meaning of life. Lu believes that everyone has their own version of intrigue and relief, and that they look at the distant hope or feel the present beauty. The design of the Jingdezhen Wenlan Mansion is an exploration of these themes, using the space to create a sense of quality and spirit between space and time.

The unique properties of the design lie in its use of abstract and pixelated techniques. These techniques enrich the artistic value of the space and provide an impressive visual experience. The beige stone that runs through the space is soft and gentle, while the use of cotton and linen textures conveys comfort. The black marble coffee table and the embossed mirror reflect the values and creativity throughout the space.

The design was realized using a variety of materials and techniques. The mirror-finished artwork, fine cuts, and refractions and reflections at different angles reveal texture in detail and endless aftertaste. The intricate intersection between the overall mid-plane and three-dimensional design seems to be casual but is rich in design sense, symbolizing the diversity and uniqueness of thought.

The project was completed in September 2019 and spans 445 square meters. It is located in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi. The design team included Li Tianjun, Gu Xiaoyu, and Zhao Xuanyu, who worked together to overcome the creative, technical, and research challenges involved in the project.

The Jingdezhen Wenlan Mansion is a testament to the power of design to evoke emotion and provoke thought. It is a space where vision and function meet, where texture and design perfectly fit, and where visitors can unconsciously enter the world of art and reality. The design was awarded Silver in the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation.
