The inspiration for the new logo comes from the concepts of People, Communication, and Globalization. By combining basic punctuation marks and industry attributes, the logo represents the company's professionalism, perseverance, and pursuit of perfection.
The logo, composed of three punctuation marks - an exclamation point, a comma, and a period - along with the initial "R" and a shopping cart, is simple yet impactful. Each punctuation mark symbolizes different qualities: the exclamation point represents expertise, the comma signifies perseverance, and the period represents perfection and new beginnings.
The unique properties of this design lie in its simplicity and ability to reflect the industry attributes and corporate culture of Guangzhou Ruoyuchen Technology Co., Ltd. Despite its minimalist appearance, the logo carries a powerful message and embodies the company's responsible, young, and creative brand identity.
The realization of this design involves adapting the logo and graphics to various applications such as business cards, badges, notebooks, gift packages, and canvas bags. The process includes techniques like foil silver and screen printing to ensure the logo's visual impact is maintained across different mediums.
Technical specifications for the design include dimensions for different applications, such as business cards (54mmx90mm), badges (54mmx85mm), packaging (260mmx330mm), notebooks (255mmx197mm), and canvas bags (320mmx390mm).
Fengnan Lin led the design team, which included Xiulin Chen, Jingxia Huang, Liqing Xian, Ziyang Zhuang, Yingqiang Zhang, and Liqiong Yang. The project was completed in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China, on January 1st, 2020.
This visually upgraded brand identity was created to commemorate Ruoyuchen's 10th anniversary and to reflect the company's vision for the future. The design team faced the challenge of finding a suitable design language that effectively conveyed the industry attributes and corporate culture of the company.
The RYC Brand Identity has been recognized for its excellence and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category. This award acknowledges designs that showcase resourcefulness, technical skills, and contribute to improving the quality of life.
