The development of Shr.d began in September 2020 in Milan and was completed in February 2021. The design was exhibited in China in February 2021, showcasing its innovative features and modern aesthetic.

Shr.d pays homage to the vinyl record, a format that has stood the test of time. With its faithful sound reproduction and unique black celluloid texture, vinyl records have been cherished by music lovers for decades. The design process for Shr.d was not without its challenges. Creating an innovative design with a complex internal structure presented technical and machining difficulties. However, the design team overcame these challenges to bring Shr.d to life.

Shr.d is a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of designer Shiwen Huang and the design team led by Guorong Wu. By combining basic graphics and overlapping them, Shr.d achieves a simple yet exquisite design that seamlessly integrates into modern life, home furnishing, and leisure.

Recognized for its outstanding design, Shr.d was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Audio and Sound Equipment Design category in 2021. This prestigious award honors designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and technical excellence, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
