Kitchen Kit - ToGoCollection

A Sustainable and Compact Kitchen Appliance

Many people live in confined spaces, primarily in cities, and do not have the space to store five to eight kitchen appliances. This is particularly noticeable among the younger generation, who increasingly lives in shared flats. In kitchens, one often notices that many appliances are visibly standing around on the kitchen counter, which often looks untidy and restless. Hence the motivation to summarize at least some of the features of various products and also to create a calmer perception in the kitchen. - Patricia Penelope Huss

The Kitchen Kit - ToGoCollection, designed by Patricia Penelope Huss, is a sustainable and multifunctional kitchen appliance that addresses the challenges of small living spaces and the need for fewer devices. This compact device combines the main features of a hand blender and a hand mixer, allowing users to mix and chop both soft and solid substances.

One of the unique properties of the Kitchen Kit - ToGoCollection is its portability. The device is designed to be lockable and transportable, making it ideal for use in different locations such as homes, shared flats, or even campers. It is charged inductively, eliminating the need for messy cords and providing freedom of movement in the kitchen.

The design of the Kitchen Kit - ToGoCollection focuses on sustainability and ease of use. The housing and cylinder can be easily separated, allowing for easier repairs and a more sustainable product. The device is made from recycled semi-transparent plastic, recycled white plastic, and stainless steel, further emphasizing its eco-friendly nature.

The Kitchen Kit - ToGoCollection consists of a case with a handle, a charging station, a case insert, a hand blender handle, attachments with knives, a double whisk, a double kneading hook, a measuring cup, a mixing bowl, an adapter, and charging plugs. Everything needed for cooking and baking is conveniently stored in this compact hardcover case system.

The Kitchen Kit - ToGoCollection was the result of Patricia Penelope Huss's final thesis at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt in 2020. The design was awarded Bronze in the A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware, and Cookware Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding creativity and contribution to improving the quality of life.

With its innovative features and sustainable design, the Kitchen Kit - ToGoCollection offers a practical solution for those living in small spaces and promotes a more organized and efficient kitchen environment.
