Love has the potential to transform the world, and when humans come together, they can create a harmonious balance. Ooi's illustrations not only explore the relationships between people but also highlight the interconnectedness between humans and nature. As philosopher Krishnamurti once said, "If you lose the relationship with nature, you lose the relationship with humanity." Unfortunately, many people today fail to recognize the significance of the bond between humans and the natural world.

The unique strength of Ooi's design lies in its ability to convey powerful messages through visual storytelling. Each illustration tells a story and conveys a message to the audience, encouraging them to reflect on their own relationships and the impact they have on the world around them.

The realization of this design involved sketching on a sketchbook and adding color and finishing touches using Adobe Photoshop. The project began in 2018 in Ooi's hometown and was completed in April 2019. It was published on Behance on May 31st, 2019, and featured by Behance on August 12th, 2019.

Ooi's inspiration for this design came from observing human interactions in daily life and recognizing the importance of connections between individuals and nature. Through this design, Ooi aims to raise awareness about the significance of these relationships and inspire others to nurture them.

One of the challenges Ooi faced during the creative process was determining the initial message that viewers would perceive from the artwork before reading the accompanying explanation. By carefully crafting each illustration, Ooi ensured that the intended message was effectively conveyed, even without prior knowledge of the design's background.

This outstanding design has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category in 2021. This award celebrates designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving the quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.

"Let's Get Better Together" is a testament to the power of love, human connections, and the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature. Through Ooi's thought-provoking illustrations, viewers are encouraged to reflect on their own relationships and contribute to making the world a better place.
