Inspired by Einstein's theory of relativity, which states that objects approaching the speed of light become smaller, heavier, and experience a slowing of time, Yatskaer invites us to imagine what lies beyond the speed of light.

The Faster Than Light jewelry set visualizes the effects of accelerating objects, structures, and particles. As speed increases, objects shrink, and structures descend into chaos. At the speed of light, everything collapses into a single point. But beyond this point, a new dimension emerges, bringing forth something completely unknown and awe-inspiring.

What sets this design apart is its ability to capture the intangible concept of speed in a tangible piece of jewelry. The meticulously calculated geometry of the shapes and fine engravings convey the impression of increasing velocity. Each piece is crafted with precision using a combination of manual design, 3D prototyping, high precision casting, welding, and finishing techniques. The sterling silver rhodium-plated and 24k gold vermeil versions also undergo electroplating for added elegance.

The Faster Than Light jewelry set offers two pendant sizes, a regular one measuring approximately 3.4x2.2cm and a larger version at around 5.4x3.2cm. The earrings mirror the dimensions of the regular pendant. Available in 18k and 14k white gold with palladium, 18k and 14k yellow gold, as well as rhodium-plated sterling silver and vermeil, there is a metal color to suit every style, dress, or mood.

Wearing the pendant on a chain, such as the "Gourmette" style, allows you to showcase this captivating design as a necklace. For a more dramatic look, combine the larger pendant with a smaller backdrop pendant and matching earrings. The concept for the Faster Than Light jewelry set was first conceived in 2017 and made its public debut in 2018 at the 10eme Salon Creations de Brabant Wallon in Belgium. Proportions and details were carefully calculated to strike a balance between visual impact and practicality.
