Kkday Office: A Vibrant and Diverse Workspace

Creating a Setting of Diversity for a World Headquarters

The design of Kkday Office, by I-Hao Chang, is a vibrant and diverse workspace that captures the essence of the tourism industry. With its unique aesthetic inspired by points, lines, and planes, this office interior design sets the stage for a journey into the world of travel.

As the world headquarters of Kkday, a prominent tourism enterprise, this office space aims to create a setting of diversity that presents multiple looks, making each corner a hotspot for visitors to take photos and have Facebook check-ins. The design team, led by I-Hao Chang, faced the challenge of integrating different settings into the workspace without it feeling out of place. This was resolved by applying similar color tones to diminish differences and allow for smooth transitions.

The reception area, the starting point of the voyage, features a counter and cabinets collaged with large rectangles of different shades. These points make up the logo of Kkday and the signature wall with a world map, manifesting the enterprise's image as a door to the world. The ceiling, structured with openwork light steel, creates a sense of transparency and lightness, corresponding with the lines on the floor.

One of the standout features of the Kkday Office is the abstract image of intertwined routes displayed on the ceiling, conveying the message that the tailored travel itineraries organized scrupulously for each customer are an indispensable part of a trip. The original flooring in the lobby is retained, with its lines leading to different settings, creating a seamless flow throughout the space.

The conference room, adorned with fun decorations such as a Japanese shrine torii, aurora, and undersea scenes, breaks away from the traditional office atmosphere, fostering creativity and collaboration. The open-concept public restroom features large-format printouts of colorful tropical forests, creating a calming and natural environment.

Unlike the dullness and routine of a regular office, the Kkday Office exudes vivacity, fun, and vitality with its bright colors. It fully conveys the enterprise concept of being "happy to be a worker, happy to be a traveler." This design truly sets the stage for a wonderful journey, both for the employees and the visitors.

The Kkday Office, designed by I-Hao Chang, is a testament to the power of design in creating a unique and inspiring workspace. With its vibrant colors, diverse settings, and attention to detail, this office interior design captures the essence of the tourism industry and provides a space that fosters creativity, collaboration, and a sense of adventure.
