The Precipitation of Light residence, designed by Concept Creative Group Limited, offers a unique and captivating living experience. Inspired by the concept of modern wabi-sabi, the design embraces simplicity, natural aesthetics, and a sense of tranquility. The soft earth-tone colors of the desert serve as the foundation, creating a warm and comforting atmosphere.

The main focus of the design is to prioritize comfort, especially for the busy working doctors who are the clients of this project. The use of natural light, combined with the coating from the ceiling to the ground and the same color floor tiles, creates a harmonious and soothing environment. The modern and simple aesthetics of the space contribute to its healing effect, providing a pure and spiritual atmosphere.

The realization of the design is achieved through the use of gradual grey color coating, which presents a variety of mottled textures. The spatial orientation is carefully considered to strike a balance between covering and allowing sunlight to enter. The interplay between light and shadow on the walls, along with the round corners facing the light, adds depth and texture to the space. The arc shapes used in the hallway and ceiling create smooth geometric lines, dividing the space and creating a dialogue between light and darkness.

The Precipitation of Light residence spans a total area of 90 square meters, with 82.5 square meters dedicated to the interior and 7.5 square meters for the exterior. The mineral coatings used in the design are extracted from limestone, making them natural and free from formaldehyde or VOC. The high air permeability of the lime prevents moisture accumulation, reducing the chances of allergies and mold growth.

The combination of arc shapes and curved surfaces in the design softens the angles in the space, creating a sense of serenity and elegance. The use of indirect lighting adds stability to the overall ambience. The storage cabinets are strategically placed along the walls, presenting a stylish and practical simplicity. The attention to detail and the artistry of the coating contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of the design.

The Precipitation of Light residence was completed in January 2021 in Taipei. The design is a result of extensive research, combining soft color grey with simple lines to create a calm and elegant ambience. The clever use of natural materials and the incorporation of arc lines evoke a serene and tender autumn feel. The design has been recognized for its excellence and innovation, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in 2022.
