The Majestic: A Modern and Grand Residence

A Majestic Space with a Modern Twist

As a marketing and PR specialist, the client of The Majestic wanted a residence that would be friendly and welcoming to guests. Designers Nick Lin and Joseph Sun aimed to create a layout that would be ideal for communication and gathering. The open floor layout, rich variation of materials, and majestic atmosphere make The Majestic a unique and inviting space.

The design of The Majestic stands out with its modern, grand, and affordable luxury style. By mixing and matching materials, the designers have created a space with different materials in the same tone, adding depth and visual interest. The new layout of the residence allows the homeowner to enjoy a perfect dressing room and ample storage space. The seamless integration of public and private areas makes The Majestic an ideal residence for the client.

The use of various materials is a standout feature of The Majestic. In the public areas, marble slabs and wood tones create a majestic atmosphere. The private areas echo the wood tone and hand-painted walls, adding a touch of modernity and simplicity. The combination of these materials creates a calm and stable texture throughout the space.

The realization of The Majestic involved the use of iron elements, marble, lighting design, hand-applied paint, honeycomb shades, and flat bricks. These elements contribute to the grand and elegant vibe of the space. The designers paid careful attention to the selection of materials and the open layout to create a rich and layered design.

The specifications of The Majestic include 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, and 1 kitchen in a 65-ping space. The curved ceiling frame and linear LED lighting strips embedded in the ceiling and shelves give the space a magnificent look. The marble TV wall, dining table, and flooring further enhance the grand and majestic atmosphere. Semi-permeable cabinets between the areas create an airy and open feeling.

In order to provide residents with a more convenient living space, the designers pushed out the wall in the master bedroom to create two separate dressing rooms. Semi-transparent cabinets are used as partitions, not only displaying collections but also providing depth to the space.

The Majestic was completed in December 2020 in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The design was inspired by the client's desire for a majestic feeling when entertaining guests. The open layout, use of materials, and attention to detail create a harmonious, luxurious, and elegant space that is an ideal residence for the client.

The Majestic has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Majestic stands out for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings to its residents.
