Revolutionizing Gaming Experience: Konka's 48-Inch OLED Monitor

Immersive Gaming with Fighter Plane-Inspired Design and Advanced Technology

Designed by the Konka Industrial Design Team, the 48-inch OLED gaming monitor is a game-changer in the esports display market. Inspired by the shape and composition of fighter planes, this monitor offers an immersive gaming experience with its unique design and advanced technology.

The Konka Industrial Design Team drew inspiration from the shape and composition of fighter planes to create this innovative gaming monitor. The design features staggered lines, high and low block surface splicing, and a symmetrical texture with an upward impact trend. The slender triangle lighting design, blade base design, and bottom end matching interaction atmospheric lights create a strong gaming atmosphere, providing players with an immersive gaming experience.

What sets the 48-inch OLED gaming monitor apart from others in the market is its super slim borderless screen design of only 3.1mm, 120HZ screen refresh rate, and high-resolution OLED image quality. It also features dual channel bionic acoustic surging surround sound, creating a top-notch immersive gaming experience for users. The staggered lines and the collision of blocks create a fighter element design full of mechanics and speed, and the interactive lighting design allows players to be immersed in the scene.

The monitor is made using a plastic back shell, die-cast metal base, metal bending frame, and semi-transparent frosted lighting parts. It measures 1068.46mm*669.87mm*295.96mm, making it a large size monitor with an OLED screen, ultra-thin design, and high refresh rate. The design team includes WEILONG LI, LIANG LI, YONG JIN, and XIAOZHEN CHEN.

The monitor is easy to install and operate. Users simply need to open the terminal cover of the rear shell of the monitor, plug in the power cord, connect it with the computer host with the signal transmission line, and cover the terminal cover. When the power is turned on, the light of the rear shell and the low end light of the base will jump with the display screen.

The project started in March 2021 in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, and was completed in May 2021. It was exhibited in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China in August 2021. The design team faced challenges due to the thick thickness of the native TOCN of the power board, the main board, and the module, which made the rear case of the display very large in size. To reduce the visual experience of the heavy back cover, they tried to thin the edge of the back cover as much as possible. They also used a layered back cover design to highlight the difference between gaming elements and conventional monitors.

The 48-inch OLED gaming monitor was awarded Silver in A' Computers and Peripheral Devices Design Award in 2022. The award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
