Cilan: A Unique Combination of Design and Functionality

The main highlight of Cilan is its rounded shape and vertical wave pattern on the door panel, which subtly represents the concepts of "moon" and "ocean." The high cabinet at the back symbolizes "Day" with its simple and modern design, while the two small cabinets on the sides represent the stars guarding the day and the moon, creating a balanced layout that resembles the vastness of the universe.

What sets Cilan apart from other kitchen cabinets is its perfect integration of built-in appliances. The refrigerator, steam oven, and other electrical appliances are seamlessly incorporated into the high cabinets, making them both beautiful and practical. Additionally, the high cabinet features a pull-down basket, solving the problem of accessing objects from high places. The cabinet also includes versatile kitchen organizers such as a rice storage box, bowl basket, and fruit and vegetable organizer, ensuring a well-organized storage system.

When it comes to materials, Cilan cabinets are crafted using antibacterial solid wood particle board, meeting the highest standards of antibacterial and antifungal performance. The paint process, with its three bottoms and two sides, ensures a flawless finish, achieving the best leveling, cleanliness, fullness, and saturation of the paint material.

The vibrant and fashionable color scheme of red and white adds a touch of energy to the Cilan cabinets. The arc door design of the high cabinet creates a mesmerizing 3D visual effect while harmonizing with the position of the kitchen island. The patterned lines on the glass door and the irregular waves on the kitchen island add a unique rhythm to the overall design.

With Cilan, functionality meets aesthetics. The built-in refrigerator allows users to easily access food, while the built-in appliances, such as the steam oven, make cooking a breeze. The multi-functional storage organizers within the cabinet ensure a well-classified storage system, making it convenient for future use. The split-level bar counter, combined with the washing area, transforms the kitchen into a space for entertainment and socialization, where one can prepare meals, make salads, or enjoy drinks with friends.

The Cilan project started in 2021 in Guangzhou and was completed in 2022. Throughout the design process, the team at OPPLIA, including designer Guihua Ming and Ke Ma, conducted extensive research to meet the demands of the young customer group. They focused on providing customer-oriented, high-quality space solutions and analyzed market trends and customer preferences.

Cilan's exceptional design and functionality have been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Kitchen Furniture, Equipment, and Fixtures Design category in 2022. This prestigious award celebrates designs that showcase creativity, resourcefulness, and technical excellence, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
