HD Tiger: A Blend of Retro and Modern Luxury

The HD Tiger is inspired by the retro trend, with dark gray as the base color and vibrant colors like matte cobalt blue and Marsala red. The tiger patterns, co-branded with Ivana, add a touch of wildness to the urban prosperity. The design caters to the urbanites’ pursuit of a healthy light food lifestyle, providing a leisurely social place for the younger demographic.

What sets the HD Tiger apart is its vintage color matching with tiger-striped patterns, creating a retro wild luxury space atmosphere. The design includes an island for oil-fume free cooking, a high cabinet with a built-in fridge, an oven, and a storage cabinet module. The suspended system makes the cabinet visually lightweight, adding to its appeal.

The cabinets are made of self-developed original G6 panels, which can continuously absorb and decompose indoor formaldehyde. The door panel consists of metal PET materials with a baking lacquer finish. The central island adopts a metal rack and a solid color quartz countertop of the same color as the lacquered door panel. The metal rack is designed to be suspended, making the island visually lighter.

The design team faced challenges in ensuring the practicality and uniqueness of the Tiger cabinet. They proposed a functional partition concept for the Chinese kitchen and light food area according to the house type. The Chinese kitchen with a suspended system keeps the traditional function of open-flame cooking. The light food area is specially designed with an island for simple light cooking and interactive communication with friends.

The HD Tiger was completed in December 2022 in Guangzhou. The design research was focused on creating a vintage trendy kitchen space centered on light cooking for stylish groups and light eaters. The product keeps the traditional function of open-flame cooking in the functional design. The space layout provides a leisurely social place for young groups to cook and entertain their friends.

The HD Tiger is a testament to the designers' creativity, technical expertise, and understanding of modern lifestyle needs. It is not just a piece of furniture, but a statement of style and functionality that enhances the cooking experience.
