Introducing Wearing Chair, a revolutionary design by Yansheng Xia, Jinxiang Li, and Chenglong Pu that allows users to transform their chairs into different clothes according to different seasons and moods. This innovative concept brings a new level of versatility and personalization to furniture design.

The inspiration for Wearing Chair came from the idea of dressing the chair. Just like people change their clothes to match the seasons and express their style, Wearing Chair allows users to dress their chairs in different clothes to reflect their mood and create a unique visual experience.

The Wearing Chair collection features three distinct dress designs: "COLORFUL," "GENTLEMAN," and "FLUFFY." Each dress design draws inspiration from different elements of fashion and applies them to chair clothes, resulting in a diverse range of styles and aesthetics.

The first dress, "COLORFUL," adopts the soft package method, inspired by the contrasting elements of clothing design. It incorporates the organic texture of clothes and fabrics, creating a visually layered effect. Buttons and zippers are used for fixing, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit.

The second dress, "GENTLEMAN," takes inspiration from leather. Made entirely of leather, this dress design exudes sophistication and elegance. The hollow-out effect adds a touch of modernity, while concealed buckles and zippers provide structural stability.

The third dress, "FLUFFY," draws inspiration from the cozy and warm feeling of a down jacket. The design applies the texture and filling method of a down jacket to the chair clothes, resulting in a plush and comfortable seating experience. Smooth fabric and down cotton filling create a luxurious and inviting feel.

The Wearing Chair project started in Zhengzhou in March 2021 and was completed in June 2021. It was exhibited in the exhibition hall in June 2021, showcasing the innovative and versatile nature of this design.
