Taking Gannan navel oranges as the central element, this illustration design captures the four growth states of navel oranges in spring, summer, autumn, and winter. It beautifully depicts the unique geographical environment of Gannan navel oranges, with its mountains, low hills, and red soil. The IP image and illustration design aim to deeply resonate with people and serve as patterns in cultural and creative products.
The design team, led by Yu Li and Hong Ting Li, along with creative director Weimiao Du, have successfully brought the essence of Gannan navel oranges to life through their artwork. By showcasing the hills, mountains, and farm scenes of Gannan Province, they hope to increase awareness and understanding of the growth and changes that navel oranges undergo in each season.
This exceptional design has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category in 2022. The Iron A' Design Award is bestowed upon well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. It is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, and contributing to a better world.
With their creative vision and dedication, Weimiao Du and Yu Li have not only captured the essence of Gannan navel oranges but also showcased the potential of illustration design in promoting cultural understanding and appreciation. Their work serves as a testament to the bright future of oranges and the power of design to inspire and educate.
