Quattro is a ceramic smart garden with the best light for plants, designed by Marco Coletti. Inspired by the hortus conclusus, a feature from medieval cloisters, this design connects our present to the past through the discovery of ancient traditions.

Quattro stands out from other smart gardens with its unique properties and strengths. It utilizes an ancestral and highly effective irrigation system called the "OLLA", which has been used for thousands of years. By using micro-porous terracotta, the roots draw the perfect amount of water, avoiding water shock and promoting harmonious plant growth. This results in a reduction in water consumption and a water autonomy of up to 2-3 weeks.

In addition to the OLLA system, Quattro is equipped with a special Grow lamp that replicates the sun's sequence. This eco smart garden allows you to grow almost every type of plant indoors using green technology. With Quattro, you can experience the healing power of plants and "grow your own wellness" in a fun and fascinating way.

Quattro is composed of three parts: a glazed ceramic container for water, four unglazed terracotta vases, and the grow lamp. The careful investigation of terracotta ratios and porosity has resulted in the best natural system for growing plants at home.

Technical specifications of Quattro include a metal frame, aluminum box lamp, terracotta pots, and a glazed ceramic base. The frame and base come in a sleek matt white color, while the pots are a natural anthracite. The Grow lamp features Osram LEDs specifically designed for horticulture, with a timer that operates on a 12-hour on/12-hour off sequence to minimize stress on the plants. The lamp also includes a satin PMMA diffuser for child safety. With low power consumption and a temperature of 3500K, Quattro is both energy-efficient and effective.

Quattro was designed by Marco Coletti in 2018 and has undergone a validation process before being made available for purchase on the Kigarden e-commerce platform. This innovative design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Decorative Items and Homeware Design category, showcasing its outstanding creativity and resourcefulness.
