Lovely Lines: A Vibrant Silk Scarf Collection

Abstract Geometric Patterns Inspired by Nature

The Lovely Lines collection stands out with its unique combination of different geometric textile patterns, resulting in a print that is reminiscent of colorful lines. The designer incorporates a mosaic-like arrangement of shapes into the ornament, creating a visually captivating effect. The patterns are filled with shades inspired by the sun, the sea, and the flora, making them truly colorific and vibrant.

When it comes to the realization of the designs, the choice of fabric plays a crucial role in achieving the desired colors and shadows. The designer experimented with different textiles such as silk and polyester, ultimately opting for pure silk crepe as the ideal base for the scarves. The digitally-printed textile patterns are all unique and signature artworks created by the designer. Printing specialists meticulously plot the ornaments on the silk base, resulting in a textile ready for scarf production.

The specifications of the Lovely Lines silk scarves include a square shape with dimensions of 127mm by 127mm. Each scarf features a digitally-printed signature pattern, adding a touch of exclusivity to the collection.

These scarves offer versatility in their use. They can be worn in various traditional styles on the head, shoulder, or neck, allowing for different wrapping techniques. Additionally, they can be used as decorative accessories for bags and home interiors. The Lovely Lines project was initiated in March 2020 in Dubai and completed in August 2021, also in Dubai. Throughout the design process, the designer conducted extensive research on fabric textures and color experimentation, ensuring the best possible outcome for the final product.

It is worth noting that the Lovely Lines collection is a part of the branded collection by Anni Teriani, which includes bags and accessories. The project has been met with recognition and acclaim, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Fashion and Travel Accessories Design category in 2022. This prestigious award honors designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity and ingenuity, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology. The Lovely Lines collection truly exemplifies these qualities, contributing to an enhanced quality of life and making a positive impact in the world of fashion and design.
