Peace of Mind: A Tranquil and Elegant Residential Design

Creating a Space to Escape the City and Embrace Nature

In the hustle and bustle of urban life, finding a place to live close to nature and peace is the core of this space design. In contrast to other luxury houses, the large pavilion pursues a relaxing, tranquil, and undisturbed living experience. Through color, technique, and route planning, designer Larry Li creates a fresh atmosphere for the family to interact with nature and the mind. In other words, it is a place to get away from the city and enjoy the tranquility.

The "Peace of Mind" design by Larry Li stands out with its unique approach to creating a serene and harmonious living space. The entire design revolves around the concept of creamy white, which the hostess envisioned. The creamy white color serves as the foundation, while the texture of the handicraft is depicted through a special lacquer. This combination creates a silent and unobtrusive atmosphere, allowing residents to feel at ease and find solace in their surroundings.

One of the standout features of this design is the incorporation of curved shapes in warm and quiet spaces. From cabinets to beams and doors, the designer replaces traditional square lines with soft curves, eliminating harsh angles and creating an open visual experience. This design choice not only adds a touch of elegance but also enhances the overall flow and harmony of the space.

To further enhance the ambiance, the space is embellished with coffee tones, stainless steel panels, Morandi-colored laminate, wood grain, and mirrors. These elements, carefully integrated within the creamy white palette, create an elegant atmosphere of simplicity and tranquility. The combination of materials and colors evokes a sense of calmness and sophistication, making the space truly unique.

Technologically, the "Peace of Mind" design incorporates various elements to enhance the overall experience. LED lights, color-changing film, and glass are strategically placed to create a mesmerizing play of light and reflections. The color-changing film, in particular, adds a touch of magic to the space, reflecting a rainbow effect on the facade and kitchen island, providing a different feeling to those experiencing the space.

With an area of 198 square meters, the "Peace of Mind" design offers a spacious and well-thought-out layout. The original four-bedroom layout was transformed into three bedrooms, allowing for more spacious living areas. The terrace, spanning 66 square meters, has been carefully arranged and planted to provide a relaxing outdoor space for the family to enjoy their leisure time.

Upon entering the space, one immediately feels the sense of tranquility and comfort that the design exudes. The curved lines and surfaces create a smooth and inviting atmosphere, making residents feel as if they are on a perpetual vacation. Concealed doors cleverly maintain the spacious feeling, while the beige special paint, wooden ceiling, and beams further enhance the quiet and natural ambiance.

The "Peace of Mind" design project was completed in June 2021 in Taiwan. The meticulous research and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the design. By transforming challenges into opportunities, Larry Li successfully created a space that embodies simplicity, tranquility, purity, and comfort.

The "Peace of Mind" design has been recognized for its excellence and innovation, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in 2023. This prestigious award is a testament to the well-designed, practical, and innovative nature of the project. The design seamlessly integrates industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, ultimately contributing to a better world.

With its unique blend of elegance, tranquility, and innovative design, the "Peace of Mind" residential project by Larry Li offers a sanctuary for those seeking solace in the midst of urban chaos. It is a testament to the power of thoughtful design in creating spaces that bring peace and harmony to our lives.
