Xin Tong's Innovative Design Approach in Creating a Rustic, Pure, and Quiet Home

Xin Tong's design inspiration for the villa came from the owner's desire for a home that exudes purity, rustic charm, and tranquility. The designer's approach involved a meticulous blend of geometric blocks and simple, pure color tones to create a quiet texture and an interesting artistic style. The introduction of natural light further enhances the leisurely, quiet, and deep atmosphere of the space.

The uniqueness of the "Growing Artistic" villa lies in its use of materials. The designers used a unique material, "old solid wood board", to bring out the wabi-sabi and rustic atmosphere in the entire space. The use of art paint further adds to the villa's unique aesthetic, with the designers spending considerable energy on its texture, presented quality, color matching, and divisions in the areas.

The villa, which spans six floors, was designed with careful consideration of the space line, structural modeling, and material selection. The designers expanded the public space, adding functional areas and void areas to increase vertical communication upon horizontal communication. This design approach not only offers visual artistic aesthetic appreciation but also presents the residents' inner ideal life.

The project, which started in October 2019 and was completed in April 2022, posed several design challenges. The owner's family is composed of three generations living in the same house, necessitating a design that caters to the living needs and habits of each resident. Xin Tong's design successfully addresses these challenges, creating a people-oriented design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The "Growing Artistic" villa has received recognition for its innovative design approach, winning the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2023. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The villa's design, admired for its strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcases a remarkable level of excellence and introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
