Bocarni: A Contemporary and Poetic Exhibition Hall

Creating a Balance Between Business, Art, and Daily Life

In the world of design, the Bocarni Exhibition Hall stands out as a unique and captivating space. Designed by Liang Wang, this exhibition hall embodies the concept of Natural Creation, Poetic Construction, offering visitors a fresh and contemporary experience that seamlessly blends business, art, and daily life.

What sets the Bocarni Exhibition Hall apart is its focus on the temperature of life. Through a symphony of poetic light and shadow and the infusion of oriental philosophy, the exhibition showcases the diversity of lifestyles, the interaction of time and space, and the harmonious integration of body and mind. The result is a space that exudes natural warmth and poetic charm, while also enhancing the commercial value of the venue.

Unlike traditional sales centers, the Bocarni Exhibition Hall goes beyond showcasing individual products. Instead, it presents a curated lifestyle composed of various products, creating an immersive experience for visitors. The design seamlessly blends commercial elements with natural aesthetics, resulting in a space that emanates a natural and warm poetic aroma.

Spanning an area of 500 square meters, the Bocarni Exhibition Hall is a testament to the designer's meticulous attention to detail. Every aspect of the space, from the sparse tree branches to the fresh moss, unfolded lotus, and tea leaves, contributes to the tranquil and profound oriental charm that permeates the venue. The furniture and cabinets are strategically placed to accommodate diverse social activities and interests, such as enjoying a drink at the bar, lounging by the stove, or immersing oneself in a good book.

The Bocarni Exhibition Hall is located in Shenzhen, China, and was completed in June 2021. Throughout the design process, Liang Wang conducted extensive research to ensure that the space not only served its functional purpose but also provided an aesthetically pleasing, emotionally engaging, and inclusive experience for visitors. The goal was to create a commercial scene that would not only captivate but also contribute to the growth of the business.

One of the challenges faced by the designer was to effectively utilize light and shadow to create an empathetic space. By carefully following the traces of light and shadow, the exhibition hall was designed to highlight the specific objects and their overall arrangement, revealing the underlying attitude towards life and evoking a sense of longing in visitors.

The Bocarni Exhibition Hall is a testament to the power of design to transform commercial spaces into immersive and captivating experiences. Through the fusion of contemporary aesthetics, oriental beauty, and a deep understanding of human interaction, Liang Wang has created a space that not only showcases products but also tells a story of life. This design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding creativity and contribution to the improvement of quality of life.
