The design of Home FT3 was inspired by the functional needs of the client and the poetic potential of natural light. The house is strategically positioned on the property to maximize the use of natural light, creating a unique architectural narrative for the area. The design is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional home, with clean lines and geometric precision, reflecting a formal purity.
What sets Home FT3 apart from other designs is its commitment to sustainability and comfort. The house is built with a concrete skeleton, insulated and plastered on the exterior, and drywall on the interior. It incorporates high-end energy-saving solutions like geothermal energy and rainwater collection, making it a passive, intelligent home. The house, spanning approximately 300 square meters, is designed in an L shape with the kitchen as the pivot point of the design.
The house is designed to cater to the client's needs and desires while adhering to sustainable principles. The use of geothermal technology ensures energy efficiency, providing comfort for the inhabitants now and in the future. The design of the house is interactive, with every point in the house offering a view of the outdoor infinity pool, which is an architectural element in itself.
The project, which started in March 2019 and was completed in June 2021, was a challenge due to the dense urban context and strict regulations. However, Caprioglio's deep research and innovative approach enabled him to overcome these challenges and create a design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Home FT3 is more than just a house; it's a testament to sustainable living and innovative design. The natural light shapes the spaces, creating a unique architectural narrative. The garden and swimming pool are integral parts of the design concept, adding a fun element to the architectural design. This house, designed for a family of five, offers maximum comfort in a quiet urban environment, making it a true architectural marvel.
