The uniqueness of this project lies in its focus on optimizing the visual image of the city through a comprehensive visual system. The designer's intention is to extend this visual image to various detailed facilities in the city, such as bus stops, stop posts, floors, manhole covers, and more. By doing so, they aim to provide a better visual effect for the entire city and achieve a high-quality use effect.
The realization of the design involves the use of stainless steel and a paint baking process. These materials and techniques ensure durability and visual appeal, making the graphics stand out in the urban landscape.
The specifications of the design include various dimensions for different elements. For example, the logo measures 7500mm (L) x 6000mm (W) x 2000mm (H), while the bus stop graphics are 28000mm (L) x 3000mm (W) x 3650mm (H). The manhole covers have a diameter of 150mm and a height of 2mm, and the traffic barriers measure 700mm in diameter.

By setting up new public facilities through the image system, the design enhances visitors' sense of environmental experience and creates a deeper impression of the urban environment. The combination of improved people's livelihood facilities, municipal facilities, and the image system helps save costs and improve the regional image.
The design project took place in Shenzhen in May 2022. Throughout the process, the designers conducted extensive research on urban detail experience design. This design concept focuses on visualizing and functionalizing all details of the city during urban construction and transformation. The goal is to enhance the visitors' experience and convey the urban culture and human characteristics through experiential design.
One of the challenges faced during the design process was the lack of underlying urban culture due to the new construction. To overcome this, the designers explored various scenarios and observed people's behavior in the environment. They transformed images into patterns and applied them to the city, aligning the design with the city's characteristics and usage habits.
Through meticulous attention to detail, Youking Design has successfully created a visual system that enriches the urban experience in Dagang Block. From bus stops to manhole covers, every aspect of the city reflects the industrial culture and enhances visitors' space experience. This project has been recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category in 2023. The award acknowledges the design's practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements, contributing to a better world.
