Serel Magic: Redefining the Perception of Washbasins

Inspired by the flowing nature of life, Serel Magic emulates the serenity and dance of a waterfall. It creates a pure and elegant passageway, capturing the essence of life's ever-changing journey. The washbasin's design reflects the enthusiasm and mystery found within the ambiance of a waterfall.

What sets Serel Magic apart is its innovative bowl form, which changes the traditional basin perception. The basin includes an invisible gateway for the water's return trip, providing users with a new flow perception and aesthetic experience. The washbasin is supported by two structures on the right and left, functioning as legs. The waste water passes through the structure on the left side and exits the basin through a concealed siphon connection specially designed for the washbasin.

The realization of Serel Magic involves traditional casting and high-pressure casting techniques. The washbasin is made using standard ceramic production techniques, with the addition of Hygiene Plus nano-technological surface application. This application not only adds value to the product but also prevents bacterial growth, ensuring a hygienic environment. The washbasin's intricate details are purified, resulting in smooth surfaces that destroy bacteria and dirt when examined under an electron microscope.

With dimensions of 800mm in width, 460mm in depth, and 265mm in height, Serel Magic is made of fire clay ceramic casting raw material. The packaging of the washbasin is environmentally friendly, aligning with Serel's commitment to sustainability.

Serel Magic washbasin is not only visually appealing but also highly functional. It performs exceptionally well with the Hygiene Plus nano-technology surface application, contributing to the development of the company and the industry. The hidden drain and invisible waste water location enhance the overall user experience.

The development of Serel Magic began in March 2022 in Manisa, Turkey. Extensive research and digitalization trends were key factors in the design process. The goal was to create a pure, easy-to-clean, and illusional washbasin that would set new standards in both domestic and foreign markets. Through focus group studies and continuous refinement, the final product took shape.

The design of Serel Magic presented several challenges, including the exploration of innovative forms that retained authenticity. Extensive research and careful consideration of aesthetics and ergonomics led to the final production design.

Serel Magic has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category in 2023.
