The Espresso Linea series, encompassing Espresso Linea Blue, Espresso Linea Rossa, and Espresso Linea Aroma, marks a significant expansion for the Sottos family's half-century legacy in coffee production and packaging. The design's unique properties lie in its ability to break free from the anonymity typically associated with wholesale products. The vibrant colors—red, blue, and orange—set against a stark black backdrop, make each package a visual delight, demanding attention in any setting.

Realized through meticulous design, the central symbol of the espresso cup becomes the heart of the packaging. The metallic pouch, measuring 155mm in width and 325mm in height, is not only a container but a statement piece. The design's realization technology ensures that the packaging is not merely functional but also a key player in the brand's aesthetic strategy, aiming to captivate both the public and the demanding catering industry.

The design's interaction with its audience is strategic and well-considered. Conceived in Athens, the Espresso Linea project spanned three years, from November 2019 to December 2022. The design research delved into the nuances of coffee packaging, where competition is fierce, and differentiation is key. The result is a color-coded system that not only distinguishes the various blends but also guides the consumer's perception, associating each color with a distinct taste and aroma. This thoughtful approach extends to promotional materials, ensuring the Sottos Family brand stands out amidst a sea of competitors.
