The design of Twenty Five Street Home is a homage to the transformative power of architecture. Daniel de Amorim and his team drew inspiration from the High Line, an elevated park in Manhattan, to create a space that encourages a harmonious coexistence with nature in an urban setting. The building's design is a celebration of the man-nature concept, providing a serene yet familiar environment for its inhabitants.
What sets this project apart is its seamless integration of spaces, reminiscent of the High Line's accessibility. The building boasts high acoustic insulation, ensuring privacy and comfort. Lush vegetation adorns both the interior and exterior, bridging the gap between human habitats and the natural world. Common areas are enhanced with thematic decorations, and the structure features a double glazing system that maximizes visibility without the need for profiles. The incorporation of a ventilated facade and high-performance frames allows for full floor-to-ceiling openings, inviting the sea breeze into the living spaces.
The realization of Twenty Five Street Home was driven by a commitment to quality of life and sustainability. The building has earned three prestigious certifications: Fitwel, for promoting health and well-being; GBC, for efficient water and energy use; and PBE, for energy efficiency that impacts unit costs. These accolades underscore the project's dedication to environmental consciousness and resident health.
Spanning 12,334.41 square meters and soaring to a height of 85.44 meters, the building comprises 24 floors and 34 residential units. Its design is a symphony of high technology and architectural prowess, offering residents an unparalleled living experience. The project's technical specifications are a testament to Daniel de Amorim's vision of creating a landmark that stands as a symbol of innovation and luxury.
The interaction between the residents and their environment is at the core of Twenty Five Street Home's design philosophy. The building is a sanctuary where the raw beauty of concrete and iron is softened by the hues of the sea and the greenery of plants. It is a place where the juxtaposition of opposites results in a superior quality of life, above the ordinary standards.
From its conception in February 2022 to its anticipated completion in June 2027, Twenty Five Street Home has been meticulously crafted in Itapema, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The design process was informed by extensive research into the High Line's historical and cultural significance, ensuring that the final product would resonate with those who appreciate the original landmark's spirit.
Overcoming the challenge of translating the essence of a beloved New York City attraction into a Brazilian residential building required a delicate balance. Daniel de Amorim and his team have succeeded in creating a space that honors the High Line while providing a welcoming and unique living experience. The Twenty Five Street Home is not just a building; it is a living, breathing entity that invites nature inside, fostering a sense of community and well-being among its residents.
The project's visual content, crafted by Metrik Studio, captures the essence of this architectural marvel, while intellectual property rights are safeguarded under Line® Arquitetura.
