The TTMM is Everything collection emerges as a beacon of innovation in the realm of smartwatch aesthetics. Salamon's inspiration was ignited by the market launch of a smartwatch by Nothing, whose clean design sparked the creation of complementary minimalistic clock face apps. The collection is a testament to the unique, award-winning approach to time representation that TTMM has cultivated over the years.
Distinct in its simplicity, the TTMM is Everything collection stands out for its graphic minimalism. The designs eschew superfluous elements, enhancing legibility and embodying the essence of TTMM's philosophy. This array of watch faces oscillates between clear, functional designs and more eccentric ones that invite users to engage more deeply with the concept of time. Each design adheres to CMF's visual principles, embracing a palette of reduced colors and styles characterized by rounded corners and dot-based fonts.
Developed using Sketch, the clock faces are not just tools but pieces of art. They reflect Salamon's dedication to creating abstract representations of time that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The designs, although conceptual and not available for purchase, showcase the potential for smartwatch interfaces to transcend conventional displays and become interactive art.
The TTMM project, conceived and completed within the span of two months in Warsaw, Poland, is the result of Salamon's extensive research into CMF products. The designs challenge the status quo set by tech giants like Apple and Google, offering a distinctive alternative that aligns with the minimalist style of the Watch PRO.
One of the significant hurdles Salamon overcame was the creative challenge of inventing new methods to present time. After a decade of creating original designs, the fear of creative exhaustion loomed. However, the final collection boasts several innovative and satisfying projects that push the boundaries of time visualization.
The TTMM clock face designs are protected under copyright and trademark laws, ensuring the originality and intellectual property rights of Albert Salamon. With the collection's recent accolade, the Bronze A' Interface, Interaction, and User Experience Design Award, TTMM solidifies its position as a leader in design innovation, merging the worlds of art, technology, and lifestyle.
