Drop Top Design stands out in the crowded fashion industry with its unique properties. The bag is composed of multiple flexible pieces that can be connected through a zip. The use of selected materials and the meticulous craftsmanship, typical of Italian design, results in products that are not just functional, but also a testament to the latest trends in fashion.

The bag's realization technology is as unique as its design. The flexible pieces are made from the "Sub" textile, known for its durability and flexibility. The pieces can be connected through a zip, allowing for endless configurations. The bag's dimensions are 35 cm x 22 cm x 11 cm, but the volume remains the same regardless of the form it takes.

Drop Top Design is more than just a bag; it's an interactive fashion experience. Thanks to the double-faced materials, users can create up to four different bag models, allowing them to express their creativity and adapt the bag to their needs and occasions. This design philosophy aligns with Blengino's belief that objects should adapt to our lifestyle, not the other way around.

The project started in March 2011 in Torino and was exhibited in Mipel Milano in September 2011. The design process was not without challenges. The biggest hurdle was the production cost, as it initially took two hours to create each item. However, after extensive research and experimentation with different materials and lengths, the production time was halved without sacrificing quality.

Drop Top Design is a testament to Blengino's innovative approach to fashion design. It has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Fashion and Travel Accessories Design Award in 2012, an award granted to outstanding and trendsetting creations that significantly impact the world with their desirable characteristics.
