Body
The Restaurant & Lounge is divided into four distinct zones: a semi-outdoor dining area, an indoor dining space, a private room, and a bar. The bar features a stunning 12-meter-long granite top counter, complete with a large mural and a DJ station. A wine display, showcasing neatly lined wine crates against a rustic metal rack, adds another visual attraction to the dining area, allowing customers to easily choose their wine.
The careful application of lighting throughout the space enhances a dramatic yet cozy ambiance. The stretch of metal-framed windows along the facade not only allows natural light to flood the interior but also provides an unobstructed view of the outside, creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior.
Design Location and Timeframe: The Restaurant & Lounge is located in Surabaya, Indonesia, and was completed in May 2011.
