Shayton Equilibrium: The Ultimate Hypercar Experience

Andrej Stanta's Vision of Perfect Balance in Automotive Design

Shayton Equilibrium, a hypercar designed by Andrej Stanta, is a testament to pure hedonism and the realization of dreams. Inspired by the elegance of a falcon in flight and the purity of a natural pearl, it represents the perfect balance of art and engineering. This award-winning design is set to redefine the driving experience, pushing the boundaries of material capabilities and green propulsion technologies.

Stanta's vision for the Shayton Equilibrium is deeply rooted in his personal experiences and emotions. The inspiration for the design came from observing a perfect summer storm, admiring the elegance of a falcon in flight, and feeling the purity of a natural pearl. The design aims to achieve equilibrium, a state where all competing influences are perfectly balanced. The result is a hypercar that is not just a mode of transportation, but an experience in itself.

What sets the Shayton Equilibrium apart from other hypercars is its focus on the driving experience rather than the destination. It aims to provide ultimate pleasure, a new perception of driving where the journey is as important as the destination. The car is also a test ground for new materials and green propulsion technologies that could enhance performance while preserving the environment and the pedigree of the car.

The Shayton Equilibrium is planned to be built as a prototype first, to test the materials and technology. The chassis will initially consist of a chrome-molybdenum space frame, with a central carbon fibre integral cell and a carbon fibre front box to absorb front crash energy. A carbon-monocoque is planned for later stages. The mid-positioned V8 engine with Bi-turbos will provide 1000-1200 bhp and 1200 Nm of torque via rear wheels and a sequential paddle shift twin-clutch 7 speed gearbox. Assisting electric engines at the front wheels are also planned for use in cities and as an additional power source.

The technical specifications of the Shayton Equilibrium are impressive. The full carbon body ensures extreme lightweight, while the chrome-molybdenum space frame, central carbon fibre integral cell, and carbon fibre front box provide safety and stability. The car boasts a 48/52 weight distribution, a V8 bi-turbo engine, 1200 bhp, 1200 Nm torque, a 7-speed paddle shift sequential twin-clutch gearbox, full LED front and rear lights, titanium exhaust, carbon-ceramics brakes, lightweight carbon-titanium two-tone wheels, and a clean driver-oriented interior.

The design of the Shayton Equilibrium has been recognized with the prestigious Platinum A' Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Award in 2013. This award recognizes world-class, exceptional, and highly innovative designs that showcase unmatched professionalism, genius, and contribute to societal wellbeing. It is awarded to designs that advance the boundaries of art, science, design, and technology, making the world a better place.

Designing the Shayton Equilibrium was a joy for Stanta, but bringing it to reality and making it function presents an exciting challenge. The project aims to bring together individuals with various expertises to achieve the ultimate goal - to turn dreams and visions into reality. The next phase is to find investors and make the Shayton Equilibrium a reality.
