Fawsec Campus, designed by AGi architects, is a residential complex that stands out for its unique features and innovative design. With a built-up area of 19,000 sqm, the complex comprises 190 one-bedroom apartments, offering temporary lodging and short-term residency.
What sets Fawsec Campus apart is its focus on creating an optimal living environment for its residents. The mid-rise building design allows for a dense development, ensuring the best thermal conditions for the apartments and the exterior shaded areas. This approach not only enhances the comfort of the residents but also promotes energy efficiency.
The highlight of Fawsec Campus is its long interior courtyard, which is split into different levels. These levels house various open spaces that contain sport and leisure areas, providing residents with ample opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Additionally, the open areas situated between the blocks are treated as interior educational collective spaces, fostering a sense of community and enabling the sharing of knowledge among residents.
The design of Fawsec Campus reflects AGi architects' commitment to creating relevant and innovative architecture. By prioritizing the needs and preferences of the residents, the design team has created a residential complex that not only provides comfortable living spaces but also promotes social interaction and community engagement.
Fawsec Campus is located in Kuwait City, with construction set to begin in 2014. The project has already garnered recognition and acclaim, winning the Silver A' Design Award in 2013 in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category. This prestigious award is a testament to the exceptional expertise and innovation demonstrated by AGi architects in the design of Fawsec Campus.
