Qun Wen's Exhibition Center Redefines Public Spaces

Designed by the visionary Qun Wen and team, Chongwen Langyue stands at the intersection of Zhengyang Avenue, a key node that now pulses with innovation and modernity. This exhibition center transcends the traditional sales office, offering a dynamic public space that invites community engagement and symbolizes Jingyang's progressive spirit. The design's unique properties lie in its strategic rearrangement of functions and interspersed blocks, creating a visually striking silhouette that draws the eye and sets a new standard for the neighborhood.

The realization of this architectural marvel is a testament to the seamless integration of building and interior design. The interior's geometric shapes, materials, and colors extend to the façade, visible through the glass curtain wall, creating a dialogue between the interior and exterior. Metallic textures dominate the interior, with aluminum and mirror stainless steel crafting a futuristic and fashionable atmosphere. The large, interspersed volumes lend a sculptural quality to the space, igniting curiosity and the desire to explore.

Chongwen Langyue's design specifications cover an impressive area of 2115.81㎡, where the design team, including Jianning Ma, Shixin Gao, Xiao hai, Yue Zhao, Rui Zhang, and Chuanyu Dai, have meticulously crafted each detail. The center's interaction with visitors is exemplified by its main entrance, shaped like a sail, symbolizing smooth sailing and forward momentum.

The project's research delved into creating an outdoor landscape that speaks the same linear design language as the building. Geometric structures harmonize with the environment, while water features and landscape elements merge architecture with nature, offering a serene, natural experience to users. The lighting design, with its use of dyed lights and metal reflections, weaves a dreamy ambiance, further enhancing the building's dreamlike presence in the city.

Overcoming creative and technical challenges, the design team has successfully provided a public space that not only stands out as an architectural feat but also enriches the community's quality of life.
