Green Park Residences: A Unique and Innovative Design by BEAD Architects

Residential Living Inspired by Water Lilies

BEAD Architects took on the challenge of creating a housing layout that not only provides natural shading but also allows for breathtaking views and a strong connection to the surrounding spaces. The result is an innovative arrangement that offers more space around the residences and a more outward-looking development.

The design team found inspiration in the graceful water lilies with their floating leaves and flowers. To bring this inspiration to life, an elegant curved canopy frame was proposed for each residential cluster. Teflon fabric leaves will be fixed to the canopy, with each leaf carefully sized, shaped, and angled to provide optimal shading for the apartments throughout the day.

The layout of the residential clusters resembles the petals of water lilies, paying homage to the adjacent park while creating a sense of spaciousness. The external space surrounding the development is designed to be semi-private, with high-quality landscaping. This semi-public space will provide a peaceful retreat for residents, with controlled access to the park for convenient leisure activities.

With a plot area of 40,000 sqm and a total built-up area of 77,500 sqm, Green Park Residences offers a range of elite residences. The design features a B+G+4 configuration, providing a variety of living options for residents.

BEAD Architects' design team, led by Muhannad Sh. Assam, Marcin Panpuch, Marta Krivosikova, Anna Szonyi, Kwame Busia, and Amado D. Arellano, has successfully created a design that combines organic elements, innovative shading techniques, and a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. The result is a residential development that is both extroverted and introverted, offering residents the best of both worlds.
