Located in Samsun, Turkey, SAMPA Head Office was designed to create an elegant yet functional and comfortable environment with the use of modern design and different materials in harmony. The brief was to create a working space that was full of light and transparency, and to let the light float through the space with minimum blockages. The customer requested the Black Sea and the international market that the company operates in to be emphasized.

Elegant, modest and efficient structures covering all requested functions were employed in the realization of the design. The pattern on the marble floor resembles the rivers that come from different countries and flow into the Black Sea. This pattern and the world map created by using the names of the spare parts that the company produces are references to the international market. Blue lighting used both in the lobby and also in various rooms is a symbolic representation of the firm's logo, corporate identity, and the Black Sea.

The building consists of three stories, with a total area of 2174 m2. The first floor is 764 m2, the second floor is 705 m2, and the third floor is 705 m2. The ground floor houses the lobby, waiting area, master meeting room, cafeteria, small meeting rooms, purchasing and international operations offices, director rooms, and a photography studio. The first floor includes accounting, finance, marketing, and sales offices, manager rooms, and meeting rooms. The second floor features executive rooms, a conference room, meeting rooms, and guest meeting rooms.

The project started in April 2013 and finished in May 2014 in Samsun. During the design process, extensive research was conducted on materials to ensure comfort, durability, availability, and functionality. The aim was to use environmentally friendly materials and design elements.

The main design challenge was to create an open space while providing privacy. The use of color, geometrical shapes, and fractions was the main design tool to overcome this challenge and achieve an aesthetically pleasing result.

SAMPA Automotive Headquarters is a winner of the prestigious A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2015. This award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The design is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, and contributing to a better world.
