Hans Dampf's first album comes in a unique box that includes a T-Shirt design and two exclusive tickets to one of his outstanding shows. The packaging itself is a work of art, with hot-foil stamping and embossing techniques used to create a visually stunning and tactile experience.
The box measures 145 x 130 x 80mm, providing ample space for the album, tickets, and T-Shirt. It is divided into two layers, ensuring that the user discovers the Hans Dampf products step by step. This thoughtful separation adds to the overall excitement and anticipation.
One of the challenges faced during the design process was finding a way to combine the rough and edgy look that reflects Hans Dampf's music with a fine and precious packaging design. The goal was to create a package that looked both valent and credible, and the final result achieved just that.
Printing for this project was done by www.duktor.de, who brought the designer's vision to life. The collaboration between Hans Dampf and the printing team ensured that every detail was executed to perfection.
Hans Dampf's CD packaging design was completed in July 2014 in Trier, Germany. The project took several months, starting in April 2014, to ensure that every aspect of the design met the artist's high standards.
This unique CD packaging design by Hans Dampf was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2015 in the Packaging Design category. This prestigious award recognizes designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and technical skill. By incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology, this design contributes to improving the quality of life and making the world a better place.
