What sets Obsidia apart from competing brands is its novel form of information display. Based on surveys, this male grooming gift set's transformative packaging helps people better understand the function of the products and creates a lasting impression. For sustainability purposes, the gift set package is primarily made from Mirror Card Black paperboard with white and red transfer, creating a luxurious and enticing atmosphere. The one-piece packaging structure facilitates mass production and transportation, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

The Obsidia gift set package measures 230mm in width, 140mm in depth, and 170mm in height, providing ample space for the grooming products and their accompanying information.

Obsidia is the result of a collaborative effort by four talented young designers: ChenChen Hu, Shijia Gu, Simin Li, and Rong Yan. The project started in March 2014 in New York and was completed in May 2014. Extensive market research was conducted to identify potential improvements for male grooming packaging, leading to the development of this unique and transformative design.

The Obsidia gift set package was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2015. This prestigious award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
