The design of the Rotron watch was heavily influenced by the science fiction film Tron, specifically its visual style and futuristic aesthetics. This design style gained popularity in 2011, leading to a surge of industrial design products showcased at the Milan Design Week. However, personal products such as watches designed in this style were lacking. The Rotron watch fills this gap, offering Tron enthusiasts a unique and stylish timepiece.

The Rotron watch stands out with its minimalist and simple form, featuring a shiny and smooth metal surface. The screen seamlessly integrates into the wristlet, creating a homogenous and visually pleasing design. The watch takes inspiration from the Tron Light Disc, incorporating Tron-colored lights that add a touch of futuristic flair.

One of the standout features of the Rotron watch is the innovative rotating ring. This ring serves as the primary control mechanism, allowing users to access various features with a simple circular motion. This methodology involves seven stages, including clarifying objectives, establishing functions, setting requirements, determining characteristics, generating alternatives, evaluating alternatives, and improving details. This systematic approach ensures that the final design meets the desired objectives and specifications.

The Rotron watch has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design category in 2015. This prestigious award recognizes the watch's outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable artistic skill.
