Creating a Home-Style Office to Foster Harmony and Productivity

Unlike traditional office spaces that often prioritize visual impact, Huahong Office aims to create a peaceful and relaxed environment. By utilizing red bricks and wood-fiber boards as base materials, the design exudes warmth and coziness. The careful combination of materials, decorations, and lighting creates a harmonious atmosphere that fosters smooth and friendly communication between colleagues and partners.

One of the unique features of Huahong Office is its incorporation of Chinese traditional culture. The designer skillfully integrates elements such as a Chinese style lattice-like projector light and a focus on tea culture. These intriguing collections and design choices not only add visual interest but also tell the stories of their masters, further enhancing the overall ambiance of the space.

The office spans a total area of 300 square meters and includes a living room, reading room, and leisure bar. By providing a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, Huahong Office allows employees to feel at home while working. This environment promotes smoother communication, strengthens teamwork, and facilitates reaching agreements in a relaxed setting.

The design process for Huahong Office took place from November 2014 to May 2015 in Shenzhen, China. Throughout the project, the designer faced challenges in incorporating Chinese traditional culture, such as designing a printing bamboo leaf screen for the windows. This required careful control of both color and shape. However, the end result successfully captures the essence of low-carbon and environmental life concepts.

Huahong Office has garnered recognition for its outstanding design. In 2016, it was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon designs that exhibit creativity, resourcefulness, and technical skill, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
