Timeless: A Luxurious and Magnificent Residential Design

A Neo-classical Masterpiece by Kan-Shih Lee

The Timeless design stands out with its unique properties and strengths. The design team skillfully used different proportions of colors to shape the public and private areas, creating distinct atmospheres. The grand public area features gray-blue tones, while the private area expresses a romantic impression with gray and purple tones. The highlight of the design is the corridor that connects these two areas. Flanked by induction lighting, the corridor lights up slowly as people walk by, creating a mesmerizing visual experience.

The realization of the Timeless design involved the use of various high-quality building materials. Marble, titanium-plated metal, European-style trims, latex paint, imported tiles, crystal chandeliers, and carbonized materials were carefully selected to bring the designer's vision to life. The dining table and living room table, made of natural marble, add a touch of luxury to the space. The titanium-plated metal, with its silky smooth texture, enhances the overall elegance of the design.

The Timeless design project encompassed a 165.2 square meter new apartment on the 16th floor. The original layout was modified to create 2 plus 1 rooms, a living room, and a dining room. The client's preferences were taken into consideration, resulting in the transformation of one room into a tea area in the public space and the enlargement of the master bedroom to accommodate a functional dressing room. The space is seamlessly connected through curved lines, enhancing the open-plan layout and improving the overall lighting.

Interacting with the Timeless design is a delight. Customized areas, such as the tea area for the host and the dressing room for the hostess, cater to the client's specific needs. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the design, with the last five months of construction dedicated to achieving flawlessly textured finishes. The thickness of each panel and arc was meticulously maintained at 4cm, symbolizing the client's success in business.

The Timeless design project was completed in May 2022 in Taiwan. The design team conducted extensive research to ensure that every aspect of the design aligned with the client's personality and preferences. The use of marble and metal, along with the incorporation of rounded details, created a luxurious and magnificent space. The circular light strips symbolize vitality, while the planting wall on the balcony adds a vibrant atmosphere.

Overcoming challenges was an integral part of the Timeless design project. Close communication with the client throughout the pre-production and construction process ensured that their expectations were met. The design team also addressed the issue of weak lighting in the corridor by using calcium silicate board for the ceiling, hand-painting 8cm wide circular curves on-site, and adding LED light strips for a visually stunning effect.

In the classical atmosphere of the Timeless design, rounded designs connect various areas, while metallic tones such as gold and silver add a touch of glamour. The public space, with its gray and blue tones, exudes magnificence through the use of metals, crystals, and marble. In contrast, the private area, adorned with draped curtains, warm lighting, and European-style trims, creates a romantic ambiance in gray and purple tones.

The Timeless design by Kan-Shih Lee is a true masterpiece, showcasing the designer's talent and attention to detail. With its luxurious and magnificent aesthetic, this residential design is a testament to the seamless integration of art, architecture, and lifestyle.
