Beyond Limits: A Multifaceted Residential Design

A Fusion of Styles and Ambiences

Beyond Limits, a residential project by designer Kai Shi Wang, pushes the boundaries of interior design by incorporating different styles and features on each of its five floors. This unique approach creates a cohesive yet eclectic aesthetic that sets it apart from traditional residential designs.

Each floor of Beyond Limits is a separate project in itself, showcasing a distinct style and ambiance. The ground floor and the second floor utilize natural stones with splash veins, creating a calm and splendid atmosphere. The use of these materials not only adds a touch of elegance but also makes the spaces appear more spacious.

On the third floor, the designer incorporates interior trims, pale orange wall coverings, and wooden elements to bring out a classic style. This warm and elegant country-style floor provides a cozy and relaxing space for the residents, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The fourth floor is dedicated to the son, featuring a unique wall design that exudes a European ambiance. This floor adds a touch of sophistication and individuality to the overall design of the house.

The fifth floor, inspired by a cafe-like decor, serves as a creative space for the daughter to capture life through her camera lens. Additionally, a paradisiacal area is designed for pets, ensuring they have their own little haven within the house.

One of the standout features of Beyond Limits is the arch wall design, which breaks the fixed space limitations and infuses elegant streamlines into the house. This design element not only adds visual interest but also creates a sense of flow and continuity throughout the different floors.

Materials play a crucial role in realizing the vision of Beyond Limits. Natural stones, wood veneer, iron pieces with titanium plating, and wall coverings with various veins are carefully selected to create a unique and visually striking look. The combination of these materials adds depth and character to the design, while also reflecting the fusion of eastern and western influences.

With a total area of 3,487 square meters, Beyond Limits is a testament to the designer's creativity and ability to push the boundaries of residential design. The project, which started in September 2019 and was completed in December 2020, is located in Changhua, Taiwan.

Beyond Limits has been recognized for its exceptional design and innovation, receiving the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2023. This award is a testament to the project's well-designed, practical, and innovative nature, meeting professional and industrial requirements while contributing to a better world.

With its fusion of styles, unique features, and attention to detail, Beyond Limits stands as a testament to the limitless possibilities of residential design.
