Salon Muzo: A Unique Hairdressing Salon Design by Idea Architecture

Creating a Functional and Stylish Hairdressing Experience

Salon Muzo, designed by Idea Architecture, is a hairdressing salon that combines functionality with style to provide a unique experience for its customers.

The inspiration for Salon Muzo came from the need to create a special settlement plan for a hairdressing salon. The design focuses on functional zoning, suitable lighting, and custom-made elements to enhance the overall experience. The use of wood veneered ceiling units, separators, and a cashier desk, along with wrought iron materials, adds a touch of elegance to the space.

One of the standout features of Salon Muzo is the custom-designed lighting elements, which are integrated with the stretch ceiling elements. These lighting elements not only provide adequate illumination but also add a touch of sophistication to the salon.

The salon's design also includes separate mirror units for men and women, each with its own unique design. The man mirror unit and the woman mirror unit are carefully crafted to provide a comfortable and functional space for customers.

Upon entering Salon Muzo, customers are greeted by an inviting entrance design with an illuminated visual unit. This creates a welcoming atmosphere and sets the tone for the overall experience.

Salon Muzo stands out from other hairdressing salons due to its attention to detail and unique design elements. The comfortable and functional settlement plan, along with the custom lighting elements and special design ceiling plan, create a one-of-a-kind experience for customers.

All the furniture in Salon Muzo is custom-designed and produced, using materials such as wood veneered panels, wrought iron, and stretched ceiling elements. This ensures that every aspect of the salon is tailored to meet the specific needs and vision of the designer.

Salon Muzo spans a total area of 165 square meters and includes 11 woman mirror units, 4 man mirror units, and 2 makeup units. The design team, led by Idea Architecture, worked closely with Yasemin Karadeniz and Yücel Karadeniz to bring this project to life.

The construction of Salon Muzo took three months, with an additional month for the construction phase. Located in Ikitelli, Istanbul, Turkey, this hairdressing salon is a testament to the dedication and creativity of the design team.

Salon Muzo is the result of extensive research and collaboration with the client. The design team carefully considered the requirements and preferences of the client, resulting in a space that not only meets functional needs but also creates a visually appealing and comfortable environment.

The design of Salon Muzo presented several challenges, particularly in designing and producing the ceiling elements. However, through creative problem-solving and collaboration, the design team was able to overcome these challenges and deliver a stunning final result.

Salon Muzo is a testament to the expertise and creativity of Idea Architecture. This project showcases their ability to create functional and stylish spaces that meet the unique needs of their clients.

Salon Muzo was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2016 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach. This prestigious award recognizes designs that meet professional and industrial requirements while contributing to a better world.
