The Ibis - Novotel Hotel (IKIA) is a 500 room cluster hotel located adjacent to Tehran's new international airport, IKIA. Designed by Shiva Aghababaei, the hotel features 200 three-star rooms and 300 four-star rooms branded as Accor's Ibis and Novotel. With a total area of 55,000 sqm, the hotel includes 7 guest floors, 2 levels of car parks, 3 restaurants, a coffee lounge, separated health centers for men and women, and an exclusive air crew lounge. The project was officially opened on February 24, 2015.
The design of the Ibis - Novotel Hotel (IKIA) was realized through a EPC turnkey contract. Construction began while the design work was ongoing, allowing for constant exchange of information between the design team and the project site. This collaborative approach resulted in practical solutions and ensured the successful realization of the design.
Technical specifications of the hotel include a total area of 55,000 sqm, 196 three-star rooms, 296 four-star rooms, 3 restaurants, 2 coffee lounges, 1 air crew lounge, 1 banquet hall, 2 multipurpose meeting rooms, and 2 health centers for men and women.
The design team for the Ibis - Novotel Hotel (IKIA) consisted of several entities, including design associates Gholamhassan Fazlollahi, Roya Forutan, Sayeh Akhbari, Mohammad Abdollahzadeh, Puyan Seyedroohina, Ehsan Davari, and Sina Zingar. The interior design and graphic associates were May Monjardin, Neda Haghdust, Nooshin Kayal, Neda Saleh, and Farzad Jafarzadeh. The landscape design associates were Andisheh Aghababaei, Sona Kani, and Hassan Babaei. Structural engineers Miad Nemati and Alireza Maleki, MEP engineer Majid Arjomand, and electrical engineer Ali Ebrahimi also contributed to the project. The contractor for the hotel was Tarh Va Afarinesh Co., directed by Mohammad Nemati.
The Ibis - Novotel Hotel (IKIA) project started in February 2011 and was completed in February 2015. The hotel is located in Tehran's new airport city, IKIA.

The Ibis - Novotel Hotel (IKIA) was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2016 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design.
