The goal of the AS & Palitra stand is to provide visitors with a modern art gallery experience, where they can see wallpaper displayed in frames on the walls, illuminated by backlights. The pergola design concept is further enhanced by the ends of the roof beams placed outside the stand, creating the illusion of transforming the interior into an exterior space.
The stand, covering an area of 154 sq.m., was constructed using the Octanorm System, with surfaces made from ecological recycled chipboard. The design team faced the challenge of selecting the right wallpaper that aligned with the aesthetic concept of the stand and met the client's requirements.
The AS & Palitra exhibition stand was unveiled at MosBuild 2016 in Moscow, where it garnered attention and admiration for its innovative design. The project, which began in December 2015, was completed in April 2016. The design team conducted empirical research and carefully selected the color and pattern of the wallpaper to complement the nearby stands at the exhibition.
