Summit Era: A New Era in Property Sales Office Design

Golden A' Design Award Winner Transforms Oval Space into Stylish Sales Office

The inspiration for Summit Era came from the traditional Chinese concept of "round sky, square ground." This concept was applied to the oval-shaped property sales office, which initially featured little more than a few pillars. Chan created a fence wall that curves around the space, concealing the columns and creating different zones that are connected through design.

Located in the coastal city of Ningbo, this oval-shaped area has been transformed into a stylish property sales office. A fence wall has been built to enclose the columns and divide the area. Key details, including unusually shaped ceilings and a sky-like display island, have been highlighted with special lighting effects and elegant gold colour accents. The office provides a comfortable experience for visitors with a multitude of seating options in the meeting area.

The design was realized using a variety of materials, including champagne gold stainless steel, oak wood, and travertine stone. The area features an enormous sky-like shade that highlights the island below like a firmament, projecting this informative image 360 degrees around the interior dome.

The office's layout is designed for optimal functionality. The reception area is located at the front of the entrance, with the display area showcasing site models nearby. At the centre of the office lies a magnificent greenhouse that connects each different zone together through a series of intertwining garden paths. The meeting area, designed with circles in mind, showcases the varying scale of the building model sitting on the island in the centre of the room. At the back, a wine bar features leaf-shaped wall sculptures. The corridor leading to the VIP rooms is bathed in a warm glow from a series of linear LED uplights made of champagne gold stainless steel.

Summit Era is a testament to the power of innovative design. The project, which started in August 2014 and finished in May 2015, overcame the challenge of projecting an informative image 360 degrees around the interior dome. The result is a stylish, functional, and award-winning property sales office that sets a new standard for design in this field.
