The design of this residential house, named "Delicacy Embellishing Luxury," showcases the unique blend of French Rococo and neo-classical styles. Designed by Sarah Yan, this project brings together elegance and luxury in a harmonious manner. The inspiration for this design came from the owners' desire for a European classic aesthetic, which led to the selection of the soft and restrained French Rococo style.

What sets this design apart is the meticulous attention to detail and the interweaving of various elements. Stones, woods, fabrics, and paintings are used to create a tapestry of flowers and geometric patterns that adorn the sky, earth, and walls. The color palette includes white, grey, and blue as underpaintings, which are then embellished with gold, light beige, and black accents.

The realization of this design involved the use of various techniques and materials. Snow White, Hand Brush Paint, Etching Mirror, Etching Slide Glass, Wallpaper, Wooden Floor Spelling, GRG, Plasterboard, and Italy Ceramic Tile were all utilized to bring the designer's vision to life. The result is a stunning 330 square meter residential space that exudes elegance and sophistication.

The design team, led by Sarah Yan, meticulously planned and executed every aspect of this project. The space was designed to not only be visually appealing but also functional. The designer wanted to create a space that would not only be aesthetically pleasing but also serve as a medium for human connection and exploration of extravagance and dynastic history.

This project was completed in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. The designer's research into the Rococo style and its historical significance played a crucial role in the design process. By extracting the essence of this historical art movement and infusing it with contemporary aesthetics, the designer was able to create a space that pays homage to the past while embracing the present.

"Delicacy Embellishing Luxury" has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2016. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate exceptional expertise, innovation, and artistic skill. The design of this residential house has successfully captured the essence of elegance and luxury, leaving viewers in awe and wonder.
