Qujian Ding Man Xiang Restaurant

The inspiration for this design came from the desire to create a restaurant that stands out from the surrounding ancient Chinese atmosphere. The owner wanted to move away from the heaviness often associated with traditional Chinese design and instead embrace a more elegant and simplified European style.

What sets the Qujian Ding Man Xiang Restaurant apart is its combination of European style and ART DECO. This fusion creates a breakthrough in design, offering a fresh and unique aesthetic. The use of snow white and black marbles, glass fiber sculptures, latex paint, mirror glass, hand-painted wallpaper, and stained art glass adds to the overall elegance and sophistication of the space.

The restaurant spans 1,300 square meters and is divided into three distinct areas: a transparent hallway, a wide lobby, and warm dining boxes. By tearing down the rear sector and hallway on the first floor, the designer was able to create a cohesive and inviting space for guests to enjoy their dining experience.

Despite the challenges posed by a structural column and height ceiling restrictions, the designer successfully transformed the space into an elevated and bright environment through extensive electrical reconstruction. This improvement not only meets the owner's requirements but also enhances the overall dining experience for customers.

The Qujian Ding Man Xiang Restaurant received the Silver A' Design Award in 2016 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award recognizes the restaurant's outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence. The design showcases strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, leaving guests feeling amazed and inspired.
