Cauta Super Sailing Yacht

High Performance World Cruiser

The Cauta Super Sailing Yacht, designed by Timur Bozca, is a revolutionary and unique vessel that pushes the boundaries of yacht design. Inspired by the elegant shape of the albatross, the Cauta is a 55-meter high-performance world cruiser that combines art, innovation, and luxury.

Few brands in the superyacht industry produce such recognizable and innovative vessels as Timur Bozca. With the Cauta, Bozca aimed to create a unique form that would give a new perspective to the yacht world. The design philosophy behind the Cauta is to create a sailing yacht that is closer to art than a traditional yacht.

The Cauta breaks the mold of traditional premium sailing yacht body forms with its provocative lines. The design is inspired by the "Shy Albatross," which also gives the yacht its name. Every line, surface, and detail of the Cauta's design has a purpose, enhancing both the yacht's performance and comfort.

One of the standout features of the Cauta is its revolutionary Dynarig sailing system. The yacht has two self-standing and rotating masts that host ten sails, all of which can be controlled by a single sailor. This innovative system makes the Cauta about twice as efficient as a traditional square rig.

Despite its futuristic and challenging design, the interior of the Cauta is warm and welcoming. The yacht features an OLED lighting system that creates a dynamic and modern ambiance in the cabins and exterior elements. The luxurious amenities on board provide a comfortable and luxurious experience for up to ten guests, with aquatic-themed accommodations.

The Cauta is constructed with a lightweight carbon fiber hull and superstructure, making it a high-performance yacht. The design philosophy of the Cauta required minimal detailing, but the interior still exudes richness, uniqueness, and sophistication. The master and guest cabins offer incredible exterior views, including a magical feeling of an underwater view with massive monolithic polycarbonate side and floor panels.

The Cauta's technical specifications include a length of 55.00m, a beam of 11.00m, and a draught of 4 - 7.6m. The yacht can accommodate 10 guests and 8 crew members. It features a Dynarig mast system with a main mast height of 44m and a mizzen mast height of 43m. The Cauta is powered by a Siemens Diesel Electric engine and has a fuel capacity of 50,300 liters.

The Cauta project started in October 2014 in Milan and was completed in January 2015 in London. It was exhibited at the Superyacht Design Symposium & ShowBoats Design Awards in February 2015, where it received the Bronze A' Design Award in the Yacht and Marine Vessels Design category.

The Cauta Super Sailing Yacht is a true masterpiece that combines art, innovation, and luxury. With its unique design, revolutionary sailing system, and luxurious amenities, it offers a one-of-a-kind experience for yacht enthusiasts.
