The Info Table is more than just a piece of furniture; it's an experience. Carlino was inspired by the idea of transforming a business meeting into a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The table is equipped with a multicoloured light that changes with slow frequency, creating different atmospheres and significantly mitigating the stress of a meeting. The user can set the preferred light and the frequency of changing by a remote control.
What sets the Info Table apart is its unique properties. The table's organic shape and its equipment create a professional yet relaxing atmosphere. Despite its hi-tech and futuristic style, the table maintains a sense of sobriety, elegance, and ease of contextualization. It is designed to be integrated into interiors of any style, making it a versatile piece for meeting rooms, offices, and even living spaces.
The Info Table is a testament to Carlino's innovative approach to design. The table is made from Adamantx, an innovative solid surface produced by Zad, a composite material obtained by processing foams coated with special resins. The worktop is made from extra clear glass, and the aluminium power track and accessories are products of Eubiq Europe.
Carlino's design process involved extensive research. He discovered that the frequency with which the light changes color affects the user's heartbeat, similar to the effect of sound. This led to the creation of a table that not only redesigns a space but also revitalizes a workplace. The table's integrated power track is equipped with fittings for power cables, USB plugs, and many multimedia connectors, making it a functional piece of furniture.
The Info Table was first conceptualized at the end of 2011, with the first prototype realized by Zad in Grosseto, Italy, in 2012. It was then released on the market in 2013. Despite the challenges of creating a table in a unique block without joints up to a length of 4000 mm, Carlino was able to exploit the characteristics of the material to create a table that is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
