This Packaging design concept aims to convey premiumness and distinctiveness to make METAXA 12 Stars stand out in the premium amber spirit category. This new packaging has been created to convey 3 key messages: -Embody sensoriality by exclusively using materials that will convey the idea of sensoriality inherent to our concept. -Reinforce the feeling of premiumness by giving a distinct role to the Salamina Warrior and reinforce it as the emblem of the House and as a quality seal. -Enhance the Heritage of METAXA by integrating ‘1888’ in the signature

The House of Metaxa, known for its exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, has once again pushed the boundaries of packaging design with their latest creation - METAXA 12 Stars. This innovative packaging design aims to convey a sense of premiumness and distinctiveness, setting METAXA 12 Stars apart from other premium amber spirits in the market.

The inspiration for this design came from the desire to embody sensoriality, reinforce the feeling of premiumness, and enhance the heritage of METAXA. The use of exclusive materials and intricate details throughout the packaging aims to create a sensory experience for the consumer.

The bottle itself is made of glass, ensuring resistance and durability. It features an elegant dark blue aluminum cap, which not only adds to the premium look but also aligns with the color scheme of the gift box. The signature of S.Metaxa is engraved on both sides of the bottle, providing texture and relief when held. The front of the bottle is adorned with an innovative hot foil stamping directly on the glass, dominating the design. A small label with a luxurious velvety texture and gold characters adds an extra touch of elegance.

The gift box, made of a metalized base, enhances the gold decorations on the front side. This material choice increases the visibility of the rays effect around the Salamina warrior, further driving the perception of premiumness. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the design, from the choice of materials to the placement of each element.

The design team conducted qualitative groups in Czech Republic, Greece, and South Africa, gathering insights from premium amber spirits drinkers.
